Default Payment Plan
We do not bill insurance directly for our maternity care package. We can order labwork through a contracted lab so that it will be covered at the best rate by your insurance company. If consultations or transfers are needed we will arrange these with providers covered by your insurance.
Some insurance companies will cover a portion of our services if you have out-of-network coverage. While we do not bill them directly, we can provide you with a statement containing all of the correct procedure and billing codes so that you can submit a claim on your own. Your insurance company will then reimburse you directly for any services they will cover. They will not reimburse you until services have been paid in full and your baby has been born.
Medicaid, like many insurance plans, will not cover any services directly provided by us.
High Deductible? or No Insurance?
If your insurance does not cover lab work, you have a high deductible, or no insurance we have an answer. Even with insurance many of our clients choose to pay us for lab work rather than having our contracted laboratory bill them or their insurance directly. This cuts cost drastically and clients end up paying about 1/5th of the amount otherwise billed. You also know all our pricing up front. See laboratory testing for details.
